David Tran – 2025 Mike Tiberio Memorial Lacrosse Scholarship Recipient
David Tran has been a cornerstone of the North Reading High School lacrosse program, serving as a three-year varsity starter in goal. Known for his drive and team-first mentality, David is always the first to arrive and the last to leave the field, setting the tone for the entire program. A two-time Cape Ann League Second Team All-Star and Co-Most Valuable Player for the 2025 season, his excellence between the pipes has been matched only by his leadership and character.
Off the field, David is a standout student and a role model for his peers and underclassmen. He has selflessly given back to the sport by volunteering at youth practices, offering guidance and encouragement to the next generation of players. His dedication and ability to lead by example make him the kind of student-athlete every program hopes to develop.
This year, David will cap off his high school career by representing North Reading in the prestigious Agganis Lacrosse Classic, where he will compete alongside the top players from across the North Shore.
David will attend the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in the fall.
A four-year Varsity starter, three-time Cape Ann League All-Star, two-time co-captain, and just recently announced, a USA Lacrosse Academic All-American, we could not be more proud of Lindsey! Known for her incredible lacrosse IQ, and well rounded skills, Lindsey was an “extra coach” on the field. Off the field Lindsey is approachable, kind, and always leads with high character. Lindsey played for REV lacrosse club and is committed to play Division 2 Women’s lacrosse at Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida. Congratulations to Lindsey on a spectacular career! Go Hornets! nrhsgirlslax
As if dunking their teammates was not enough, 5/6 did the same for their coaches!!

Champions Alert!
A huge congratulations to the Boys 7/8 Select Team on an incredible victory Tuesday night! In a thrilling, hard-fought battle against Dover-Sherborn, our boys left it all on the field—and came out on top. Under the lights at the legendary Harvard lacrosse field, they showed heart, hustle, and grit.
They are your Division 3 State Champions! 🥍
The 5/6 girls and boys teams hit the field tonight for an epic scrimmage—played until the lights shut off! Great energy, big smiles, and tons of fun.
🎉 Congratulations to our 8th Grade Players! 🎉
As our 2025 season comes to a close, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to our incredible 8th graders who just wrapped up their final year with North Reading Youth Lacrosse. 🙌💚💛
Many of you started this journey back in first grade, and it's been an absolute joy watching you grow as players, teammates, and leaders on and off the field.
Your dedication, sportsmanship, and love for the game have made a lasting impact on our program, and we couldn’t be more proud. 🥍
We wish you all the best as you take the next step in your lacrosse journey and begin your high school careers. The future is bright — and we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 💪

With the end of the summer lacrosse season upon us, and with new beginnings ahead, we would like to acknowledge the New England Twisters lacrosse club for all they have provided our town program in recent years.
First introduced to the @netwisters during the 2018-2019 year, our boys program has reached new levels of success in recent years due in part to their guidance and instruction. We have been grateful for their partnership in developing many of our players and presenting our coaches with the tools to succeed.
That said, there is no rest for the weary. Tryouts for 2024-2025 are next week. Visit their website for details!

At the @mass_youth_lax Jamboree, it isn’t about how you manage extra man opportunities or how efficient your zone ride is. It is more about the tailgate, the support from and camaraderie between families, the culmination of yet another year of town lacrosse, and most importantly, the memories and relationships formed with teammates. Sometimes, you even get to play with or watch your (twin) siblings play. Here is to yet another memorable #Jamboree. #NationalBestFriendDay #BuiltInBesties

Some have been with us since day one, and some just picked up a stick this year, but all have made a meaningful contribution to their teams and our North Reading lacrosse community. Thank you, have a great time at the Jamboree, and good luck in the Select semifinal! #8thgrade #Classof2028 #og
